Hi, welcome to holiday-in-Oman.

My name is Rob Gardner and I’m the GM of the company.
I’ve been here in Arabia for around 15 Years, first in Bahrain and then in Oman since 1997. An engineer by trade, I discovered Oman as I set up desalination plants throughout the Sultanate. It was during my many trips up the mountains, into the deserts and along the coastline that the idea of setting up an activity and adventure tourism company came to me.

A hidden treasure, Oman’s natural beauty has remained unspoilt through the ages and it is on this aspect of sustainability that we have focussed our business. Setting up our company, we mainly employ Omanis and provide them with training to a very high standard of customer service. This, at first, proved quite a challenge however the fruits of our labours are showing, with clients being very impressed with our guides and showering us with positive feedback.

I wouldn’t count myself as a sportsman per se, however what I may lack in skill, I more than make up for in effort. I am a keen scuba diver, mountain climber and cave explorer and am also a member of the Muscat Road Runners and the Hashers.

My partners and I have taken our company from the early days of having one car and just us as staff in a little office, to 16 staff, ten tour cars and busses, four boats, 20 kayaks and an array of activity equipment. We also now have two offices, three shops and our own guesthouse.

We focus on giving you an ‘out of the hotel’ experience. The Sultanate of Oman is far more than beautiful hotels on delightful beaches. It’s about mountains, deserts, waves, palm trees, wadis and canyons it’s also about people. Nowhere in the world will you find such open and hospitable people with an easy smile and a friendly welcome . . . and goes for our team as well!
