| Day 1 Sat 11th Oct |
Arrive in Muscat and transfer to guesthouse (10mins) |
| Day 2 Sun 12th Oc |
We’re up and off this morning for some dune and wadi bashing just 1.5hrs north of Muscat. Enjoy the highs and lows of the dunes and then try your hand at some sandboarding! We move on to the palm tree and oleander filled wadi where we walk its full length from Abiyad through to Subaykah - depending on recent rainfall be prepared to get your feet wet! Enjoy a picnic lunch en route whenever we’re ready and then we move to Wadi Mistal and the Ghubrah Bowl where we make our wild camp for the night. |

Today’s sees us walking from Wakan – a small mountain village with many fruit plantations – lemons, figs, pomegranates, dates etc and either circling the back of the Ghubrah Bowl or summiting Jebal Akhdar and going down to Hadash. where we then head onto Wadi Bani Awf to make our camp at the terraces. La Gorgette behind site, that is an optional 30 min walk through to see Bilad Seet mountain village. |

After breakfast it’s just a short drive to the start of the high wires of the Via Ferrata Snake Canyon – 100m above the canyon floor. |
| Day 5 Wed 15th Oct |
Today we look up at the wires high above us as we do Snake Canyon once more, this time on the ground. Prepare to get wet as we swim, trek, climb and abseil our way through – a real adrenalin rush! Finishing mid-afternoon we head further up the mountain to Birkat al Sharaf where we make camp for the night. |

Today we head across to Jebal Shams and Oman’s Grand Canyon – the stunning Balcony Walk. The 2hr walk ends with a dramatic, short, yet mostly vertical Via Ferrata out offering spectacular, rarely seen views along the Canyon. Tonight we make our wild camp on the mountain top. |
| Day 7 Fri 17th Oct |
This morning we head down the mountain – on foot to the boulder-strewn Wadi Ghul where we can take coffee and dates with the villagers of Nakhr and admire their carpets. Suitably refreshed we head into the former capital, Nizwa and check into our hotel. |
| Day 8 Sat 18th Oct |
After a morning exploring the city and its fort, we engage 4WD and head to the Sharqiyah (Wahiba) Sands to meet our Bedouin hosts and set-off to explore the dunes on camel back. Met by our kit and 4WD we make our wild camp under the huge star-filled desert sky. |
| Day 9 Sun 19th Oct |
Our camel safari continues as we explore the dunes with our Bedouin guides searching for scorpions along the way. Arriving back at the Bedouin camp we dune bash before sitting down to a traditional Bedu lunch. We say our goodbyes and head for more sand … this time a secluded beach to make camp for the night. |

A quick snorkel before breakfast and then we jump on our bikes to pedal our way along the coast road back towards Muscat, stopping en route to explore the sinkhole and wadis. Our camp for the evening is a wild beach camp. |
| Day 11 Tue 21st Oct |
This morning we continue peddling north exploring ruins and wadis along the way. By mid-afternoon we reach Bander Khayran bay where we make camp for the night. |
| Day 12 Wed 22nd Oct |
Today we swap peddles for paddles as we kayak out to the high wires of the Via Ferrata above the peninsula at Bander Khayran - look out for turtles and rays along the way. We don our safety gear and walk up to the start and then it’s time to look down on the marine life far below us as we traverse the rock face and cave. After a relaxing and much needed swim and lunch on the beach it’s time to kayak back to our camp on the main beach and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure – or exploring the nearby fjords by kayak - and our second night at our wild beach camp. |
| Day 13 Thu 23rd Oct |
After an early morning dip we’re back in the kayaks as we paddle the last leg round to Muscat and check into our hotel just over the road from the beach. |
| Day 14 Fri 24th Oct |
Today we head for the deep sea as we go dolphin watching, returning to the marina in time for lunch we have the afternoon at leisure before heading to Muttrah Souk to explore the alleyways and shop for souvenirs! |
| Day 15 Sat 25th Oct |
Depending on flight times the day can be spent exploring Muscat including the museums and Grand Mosque, one final activity or simply ‘at leisure’ |
