Some answers to questions on self drive

1. How much is fuel. hahaha your joking, To fill our biggest car = 12RO
2. Are there plenty of petrol stations? Yes plenty all over
3. Where can I camp? You can camp any place within reason, not in somebody's garden.
4. Am I safe? Yes you are but don't go leaving stuff in your tent and go off for the day; and lock car doors.
5. Where can we get drinking water? From any food shop will have bottled water or you can fill your jerry can at the petrol station, there are big water stations which you can find, spot the big blue trucks filling up.
6. Do local shops take credit cards? Small towns, unlikely, ask first
7. Are there ATM machines at banks? Yes in most towns
8. Is it safe to eat in the local restaurants of Oman, Go for it; you will have great fun. Don't worry if you're the only non local.
9. How should we dress, always with modesty, cover up. Long shorts are ok but little string tops will attract unwanted attention.
10. If I get stuck is there help? Well, yes and no, there is no quick response service, but I bet somebody will have pulled over to offer help, hhhmmmm within 3mins of you stopping. ( Phone us ASAP)
11. Do you have child seats? Yes and for different ages.
12. Do I need GPS? Hard to say depends how off the beaten track you're going, we can hire you one if needed.
